The largest badminton tournament of Tehsil Pasrur was successfully organized at the Municipal Committee Pasrur, drawing a large number of sports enthusiasts from across the tehsil. The mega sports event was organized by young sports organizer Shahzada Jonti, whose tireless efforts and excellent arrangements ensured the tournament’s success.
A total of 32 teams from different areas of Tehsil Pasrur participated in the tournament, with players displaying high-quality skills and outstanding sportsmanship. Several thrilling and closely contested matches kept the spectators fully engaged throughout the event.
The final match was played between the strong teams of Chonda and Qila Kalarwala. Both sides exhibited exceptional performance, making the final a highly competitive encounter. Ultimately, Chonda emerged victorious by defeating Qila Kalarwala to claim the tournament title.
The final match was graced by the presence of special guests Coordinator MNA Ali Zahid Khan and Malik Ahmad Ali. They awarded the winning team Chonda with the championship trophy and a cash prize of Rs 20,000, while the runner-up team Qila Kalarwala received a trophy along with Rs 10,000 in cash.
Speaking on the occasion, Malik Ahmad Ali appreciated the organizers, especially young organizer Shahzada Jonti, for the successful conduct of the tournament and congratulated both finalist teams. He emphasized that the promotion of sports plays a vital role in engaging youth in positive and healthy activities. Former Councillor Rana Zahid and Mustafa Goraya were also present at the ceremony.
